About

I started LayerLoop Studios with my partner, Tristan. For as long as I can remember, my dream was to build something meaningful with her.made that dream feel urgent and real. Life suddenly felt too short not to spend it creating alongside the people I love most.

Blending our passions in design, art, and engineering became a way for us to move forward together. I wanted to feel warm again, to rebuild a sense of home, and to let that feeling shine through the objects we create. Every piece we make carries a little bit of that hope.

Our work is quietly influenced by the Asian cultures we grew up around, along with the ones we’re still learning about. We’re inspired by the soft lines of zen gardens, the symbolism in Chinese home rituals, and the belief that small, intentional moments can help us feel grounded. Designing through this lens keeps us connected to where we come from, honours what we’ve lost, and helps us understand who we’re becoming.

Today, everything we make is crafted in small batches inside our studio. The two of us design, shape, and refine each object with care. Our hope is that these pieces bring a sense of calm, warmth, and presence into your everyday rhythms.

Layerloop is our way of remembering the past, reconnecting with our heritage, and building a future that feels a little gentler.

Thank you for being here. It means more to me than I can ever fully say. 💛
